Bookmarklets allow you to quickly check key elements on a webpage, such as headings, links, and images, and see potential accessibility issues instantly. By using bookmarklets, you can get a visual and interactive view of accessibility on any page without complex setup.

Steps to use A11yInspect Bookmarklets effectively

  1. Open a Webpage – Navigate to the webpage you want to test.
  2. Access A11yInspect – Click the BarrierBreak A11yInspect extension located in the top right corner of your browser toolbar.
  3. Select Bookmarklets – Choose one or more bookmarklets based on your testing needs, for example Headings, Links, or Images. You can also unselect any bookmarklet if it is not needed.
  4. View Accessibility Information – The page will display accessibility details according to the selected bookmarklets.
